Amazing 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms Beach Resort / 1518

Our family had several challenges with this property during our long weekend stay in Miami, while the location in Mid Beach is wonderful our issues with the apartment and management were a disappointment.The condo was spacious, with a large dining room table, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The couch and beds were comfortable. There was extremely limited cooking supplies in the kitchen. 2 pots and one skillet - no baking sheet or foil, etc. Only salt and pepper provided. As other reviewers mentioned - a strange coffee machine with only three coffee pods provided. We went to Walmart and bought a drip coffee machine, cooking utensils, a colander, tin foil, and more. The security staff is excessively strict about not being able to bring your own water bottle to the pool. This is supposed to be a resort- I should be able to fill my own water bottle with ice and water and bring it with me. They act like you are smuggling alcohol and drugs. Matter of fact a security harassed me when I tried to walk through the pool to the boardwalk with my water bottle for a run. The same is true for pool towels - they are excessively strict. Elevators are slow and crowded.

The apartment’s location and cleanliness were pretty good, although the view overlooks a building currently being renovated (no fault of the owner!). The place is billed as a three bedroom, but the bunk bedroom doesn’t have a window or closet and shouldn’t be considered a bedroom. The kitchen had nothing you would need, including an off-brand pod coffee maker that you couldn’t buy pods for, barely any cooking utensils, etc. The building hallways smelled and elevators could take 15 minutes to get. The pool setup was great and it was right along the beach, which was nice.
